I love the conversation about what really makes a difference in getting a home sold. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to take over listings that have expired with other agents. Often these seller’s have been frustrated by their past experience of weeks, months, even a year on the market with other agents – and I have had the good fortune to successfully then get them sold for those clients.

And it’s never a mystery how it happens. It’s not an ego thing for me. I have been lucky, but I don’t believe it’s just luck. I think there is a specific plan that an agent and a seller can create to get that home sold.

This site is meant to share the secrets for consumers. They work in every market, in every location and on every home. Time on market may vary slightly, but if you are truly motivated to sell your home, you can find answers here.

Talk to a local Realtor and expert. There are really wonderful agents out there that can help you. If you need help finding an agent, let me know. As a trainer, mentor, and past business coach, I know wonderful professionals that can help across the country.

I never recommend going it on your own (although I did sell my first home FSBO —shhhh! Don’t tell my friends). It can be an expensive way to go ultimately, but if you are dabbling in that – you may even find some good tips here too.
